Toddy’s Hut – Coming Soon to Tobermory Campsite

We’re delighted to be adding something very special to the campsite—Toddy’s Hut, our newest shepherd’s hut, available soon.

Named after a much-loved friend and neighbour, Toddy’s Hut is a tribute to a life well lived outdoors. In his younger days, Toddy was a keen mountaineer, and this cosy retreat reflects that same spirit of adventure—simple, welcoming, and perfectly placed for exploring everything Mull has to offer.

Designed with comfort in mind, the hut is ideal for two friends (or anyone who prefers their own bed after a day on the hills!). Inside, you’ll find twin beds along with thoughtful essentials including a fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle, plus a panel heater to keep things warm and snug whatever the weather.

One of the hut’s most distinctive features is its unusual round window—a lovely spot to sit, pause, and take in the surroundings. And what surroundings they are… Toddy’s Hut enjoys beautiful views across the water towards Ardnamurchan, where the light and colours shift throughout the day, offering something different every time you look.

Whether you’re here for walking, wildlife spotting, or simply a peaceful island escape, Toddy’s Hut will offer a cosy base with a story behind it.

We can’t wait to welcome our first guests—keep an eye out for booking dates coming soon.
