The weather just now is gorgeous – sunny and cold, promising spring is on the way. Yesterday we decided to make the most of it by having an afternoon at Calgary Beach. Both dogs love it there – jumping in the sea and chasing seaweed across the beach. They love to play with each other but it is impossible to get a photo of them together! I love how Bonnie is smiling in this photo.

It’s never too cold for ice cream, but sadly not enough people agree with that sentiment and the Robin’s Boat ice cream shack isn’t open until April, can’t wait!

I highly recommend the art trail in Calgary, a labour of love by artist Matthew Reade and a wonderful walk at any time of the year. Sadly, they were badly hit by winter storms but there’s lots of work going on to open up again for the season. After all that exercise, a wander around the gallery and a visit to the tearoom is a must!

Finally we stopped off in Dervaig on the way home for supplies from Dugies.

Back to work today, but the sun is still shining …….
