Last night marked the launch of our very first Whisky Wednesday – and what a fantastic start it was. We were delighted to welcome Michelle from The Tobermory Whisky Den, who led us through an unforgettable evening of whisky tasting in the campsite shelter.

With a slight chill still lingering, Angus got the fire going to keep everyone cosy – though it wasn’t long before the warming drams were doing their job just as well. The atmosphere was relaxed, friendly, and full of laughter as guests gathered to enjoy something a little different.

Michelle brought a wealth of knowledge and experience to the evening, sharing fascinating insights into each whisky in a way that was both entertaining and easy to follow. Her passion and humour made the session accessible to everyone, whether seasoned whisky lovers or complete newcomers.

Guests enjoyed sampling a selection of drams, discovering new favourites, and soaking up the warm, welcoming atmosphere. It was a brilliant first event, and we’re excited to make Whisky Wednesdays a regular highlight throughout the summer, kicking off each week at 6pm in the campsite shelter.

We can’t wait to see you at the next one, book at reception or email info@tobermory-campsite.co.uk.

Slàinte! 🥃
